How APSN Works

APSN Reporters monitor local public safety frequencies for confirmed emergency incidents.

Public Information Officers are encouraged to participate in the network by providing information on incidents in their area. APSN Reporters can submit information using email or a web page form (CAD System).

When an incident meets the strict APSN reporting criteria, Reporters use our CAD system to send alerts to subscribers. Alerts are instantly sent to the wireless device or email address of our subscribers. As incidents escalate, pertinent updates are issued.

Subscribers can choose any combination of the many areas we service in Arizona.

APSN also has many professional field photographers, videographers, and journalists on its staff. These members, respond to breaking news scenes and provide content to our contracted media organizations.
